Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gernando Penha started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Tortinho getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Falcão Negri hit a great ball. Itabapoana SC's Dito Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorginho Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ariel Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Furman in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Christian Furman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tortinho's Erasmo Hermes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorginho Costa took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Birila. Ariel Birila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Furman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rubens Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tortinho's protests and gave Rubens Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Tortinho got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Favoretto. In the 43rd minute, Christian Furman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itabapoana SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The wind increased when Christian Furman made the kick off in the second half. Rubens Favoretto got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 53rd minute, Rubens Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tortinho's Erasmo Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Furman in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Christian Furman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Hermes was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Ariel Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Costa in the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Furman in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Hermes saved Tortinho from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Itabapoana SC's Christian Furman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Christian Furman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Erasmo Hermes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tortinho's zone, Mazinho Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Hermes came out of the goal and Mazinho Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazinho Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Erasmo Hermes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Christian Furman in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Itabapoana SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
