To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléber Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Gerber came out and tried to block the shot, but Kléber Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Pedro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Jorge Gerber managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Arame's Pedro Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dé Correia hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe Netto in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luiz Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Chaves hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Pedro Luiz Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Netto in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match, Kléber Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Gerber saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee showed Didi Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes MURURÉ FC got a freekick which was hit by Didi Catarinense. Kléber Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jorge Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MURURÉ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arame the free kick. Pedro Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Pedro Azevedo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of MURURÉ FC's Jorge Gerber. Jorge Gerber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felippe Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Vasconcelos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Netto got free with Pedro Luiz Vasconcelos in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arame's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lenílson de Moraes 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. MURURÉ FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
