The long shot by Maurinho Alvarenga in the 3rd minute really tested Sidney Senna's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Adalmo Lima fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Vlankowsk's protests and gave Adalmo Lima a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Borussia Vlankowsk got a freekick which was hit by Adalmo Lima. After recieving a nice pass, Infinito's Clóvis Duarte tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Renato Amaral's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sidney Senna firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sidney Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Amaral in the 13th minute. Bernardo Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Cauã Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliézer Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernão Ramalho during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Infinito getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fernão Ramalho hit a great ball. Luisão Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cauã Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adalmo Lima came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Borussia Vlankowsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalmo Lima couldn't finish the play. Sidney Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Vinhas in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Luisão Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Luisão Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cauã Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luisão Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Neto having to interfere. After the first half Borussia Vlankowsk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Passos to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Borussia Vlankowsk's Luisão Martins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauã Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Cauã Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fernão Ramalho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Infinito's Jairo Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Luisão Martins took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cauã Neto to make any attempt to save it. Radomir Juchno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cauã Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Radomir Juchno slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Borussia Vlankowsk's Ivo Dantas got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Borussia Vlankowsk's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Amaral came free, but Sidney Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borussia Vlankowsk's Eliézer Cosme got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Vlankowsk's zone, Clóvis Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Senna came out of the goal and Clóvis Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Borussia Vlankowsk's Luisão Martins in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Infinito's goalie prevented a goal. Luisão Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cauã Neto made a huge save. In the 92nd minute Renato Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Proença's late challenge caught a Infinito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Proença helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Infinito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Borussia Vlankowsk's performance. The match ended with a win for Borussia Vlankowsk.
