In the 10th minute, Adalmo Lima made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Gerber. MURURÉ FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Martins in the 16th minute of play forced MURURÉ FC's goalkeeper Jorge Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Ivo Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borussia Vlankowsk and the MURURÉ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Borussia Vlankowsk got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Dantas. Sidney Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenílson de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, MURURÉ FC's Jorge Gerber got control of the ball when Adalmo Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Cesinha Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MURURÉ FC and the Borussia Vlankowsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MURURÉ FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cesinha Marquez hit a great ball. Luisão Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. MURURÉ FC's Jorge Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save MURURÉ FC from getting a goal against them. Adalmo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorge Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Proença struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jorge Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Vlankowsk. After 41st play minutes Luisão Martins shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jorge Gerber and just under the crossbar into goal. Jorge Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Borussia Vlankowsk's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Netto came free, but Sidney Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenílson de Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to MURURÉ FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dedé Leme hit a great ball. Jorge Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Martins went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Adalmo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisão Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, MURURÉ FC's Sidney Senna threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Didi Catarinense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jorge Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalmo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MURURÉ FC's zone, Adalmo Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Gerber came out of the goal and Adalmo Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Luisão Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Vlankowsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Cesinha Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalmo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Borussia Vlankowsk's Luisão Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MURURÉ FC's zone, Luisão Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Gerber came out of the goal and Luisão Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luisão Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luisão Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to MURURÉ FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cesinha Marquez hit a great ball. When Luisão Martins got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Jorge Gerber was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Borussia Vlankowsk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
