Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tony Fernandes got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Marcel Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Peres. Jangueta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Claudinei Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The long shot by Jefferson de Carvalho in the 12th minute really tested Nilton Vidal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Chicão Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baguassu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jangueta SC the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Baguassu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Cerezo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Vidal. Nilton Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 28th minute, Vágner Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilton Vidal. The goal made the score 2-1. Nilton Vidal made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Edgar Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Jangueta SC booed when Baguassu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valdo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo de Toledo in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Marcel Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nilton Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Reynaldo de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baguassu SC and the Jangueta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jangueta SC made a substitution. Dagoberto Rocha replaced Vágner Neves. Reynaldo de Toledo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Edgar Cerezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baguassu SC's Nilton Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Albuquerque in the 54th minute of play forced Baguassu SC's goalkeeper Nilton Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilton Vidal came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Jangueta SC's Valdo Correia. But to his dismay, Valdo Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Dagoberto Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jangueta SC's protests and gave Dagoberto Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Wiliam Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Vidal having to interfere. Jangueta SC's Edgar Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilton Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Peres made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Marcel Arruda sent off a good shot on target. If Marcel Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Carioca in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Jangueta SC's Valdo Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilton Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Edgar Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nilton Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernani Carioca's late challenge caught a Jangueta SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernani Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Baguassu SC's Ernani Carioca got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jangueta SC's Walmir da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Jangueta SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
