Parangaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Pitta during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Parangaba booed when Enchu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Parangaba's Paulo Renato de Castro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lucas Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Parangaba's Cristian Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Parangaba from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Parangaba booed when Enchu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luisinho Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Parangaba were awarded a corner. Paulo Renato de Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 55th minute of the match Parangaba got a corner. Enchu EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulo Renato de Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beto Paranaense got free with Walmyr Lago in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roger Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Parangaba's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Mendonça came free, but Cristian Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Vítor Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Vítor Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Parangaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Pires to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Fontes struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cristian Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enchu EC. Paulo Renato de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Lucas Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Mendonça in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Mendonça in the 71st minute of play forced Parangaba's goalkeeper Cristian Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Fontes in the 73rd minute of play. Lucas Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Meireles having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Roger Mendonça notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Parangaba's Cristian Meireles. Cristian Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Mendonça in the 87th minute of play. Cristian Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Lago made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Beto Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, Parangaba's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Mendonça came free, but Cristian Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Enchu EC had won after a very even match.
