Hauer SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petropolis the free kick. Natanael Neves hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hauer SS's zone, Fiori Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Ferreira came out of the goal and Fiori Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Reinaldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dráusio Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Cardoso in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
