If Gino Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Prestes in the 42nd minute of play forced Favinhas FC's goalkeeper Geovani Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonardo Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Favinhas FC's protests and gave Leonardo Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Favinhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Paraense to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 90th minute Oséas Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Geovani Meira made a huge save. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Favinhas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sustino SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
