Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Baiano got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jeferson Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Recife in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeferson Urbano saved Sinunga SC from getting behind. Pedrinho Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jeferson Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvério Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Urbano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Pedrinho Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaltino Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Urbano having to interfere. In the 26th minute Cafu Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Eao SS's Nelson Félix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alberto Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Recife in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeferson Urbano saved Sinunga SC from getting behind. Pedrinho Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeferson Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Pedrinho Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eao SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jeferson Urbano made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Isaltino Loureiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Eao SS's Pedrinho Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Pedrinho Recife might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeferson Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrinho Recife ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eao SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinunga SC the free kick. Jeferson Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Félix in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Pedrinho Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eao SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Isaltino Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Eao SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Loureiro couldn't finish the play. If Pedrinho Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benê Tande fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinunga SC's protests and gave Benê Tande a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Sinunga SC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Tande. The supporters of Sinunga SC booed when Eao SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 98 in the game by Pedrinho Recife from a close distance when the talented Jeferson Urbano managed to make a qualified save. Sinunga SC's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Eao SS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sinunga SC.
