Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jeremias Vander got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Moraiba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Torres to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Pitta in the 16th minute of play forced Moraiba AD's goalkeeper Vinícius Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Schmidt during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lauro Schmidt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Paulo José Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes Moraiba AD got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Torres. In the 35th minute, Paulo José Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moraiba AD's Vinícius Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Pitta in the 38th minute of play. Armandinho Pitta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinícius Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo José Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. Taquary's Armandinho Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Paulo José Abraão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Moraiba AD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gilmar Pereira hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Paulo José Abraão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vinícius Albuquerque saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Taquary booed when Moraiba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo José Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Albuquerque having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio de Lara during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moraiba AD's Cláudio de Lara got a free kick in the 70th minute. Vinícius Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Taquary's Armandinho Pitta. But to his dismay, Armandinho Pitta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Moraiba AD booed when Taquary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes Taquary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Abreu who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Moraiba AD's corner Doni Abreu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michel França quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Moraiba AD booed when Taquary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Taquary's zone, Dida Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel França came out of the goal and Dida Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dida Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Michel França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Taquary's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Sarmento came free, but Michel França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taquary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
