Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Uacari's Basílio Salgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Damasio's Luizinho Valle made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Luizinho Valle came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Damasio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizinho Valle couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Damasio booed when Uacari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Salgado in the 16th minute of the match. Douglas Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Basílio Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Raimundo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Basílio Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uacari's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Luizinho Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leopoldo Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basílio Salgado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raimundo Brasil came out and tried to block the shot, but Basílio Salgado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 25th minute. Leopoldo Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Leopoldo Vinhas came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Damasio's Luizinho Valle. But to his dismay, Luizinho Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 34th minute, Luizinho Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Damasio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 44th minute Luizinho Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitório da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leopoldo Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The wind increased when Luizinho Valle made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Valle in the 52nd minute of play. Vitório da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leopoldo Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizinho Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Uacari getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Reinaldo Proença hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Damasio got a freekick which was hit by Elano Sabóia. When Fellipe Peres came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Uacari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Peres couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, Uacari's Basílio Salgado made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Leopoldo Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damasio. Leopoldo Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Valle in the 89th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Leopoldo Vinhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Vitório da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Damasio's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 97 played minutes, Damasio's Elano Sabóia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Vinhas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Damasio reached it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
