Raimundo Brasil came out of the goal and Cipriano Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 27 played minutes Damasio got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Cabral. Cipriano Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Raimundo Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandro Futebol Clube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Abraão in the 36th minute of play forced Damasio's goalkeeper Raimundo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raimundo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Favoretto in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Vitório da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Reynaldo da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinei Paraíba's late challenge caught a Alexandro Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Damasio's Claudinei Paraíba got a free kick in the 67th minute. Baltazar Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Damasio's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Abraão came free, but Raimundo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Brasil having to interfere. In the 80th minute Alexandro Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Remi Roelandts went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 82nd minute Fiori Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Damasio got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Paraíba. Ezequiel Secco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cipriano Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Raimundo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Favoretto went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score.
