Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ismael Paulista got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Jeremias Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fellipe Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Ismael Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Silas Neiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Uacari booed when Giru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Fellipe Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe Peres struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Silas Neiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uacari. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Peres in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silas Neiva saved Giru from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Giru's Abel Pena got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Basílio Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Ismael Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uacari's Fellipe Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Giru got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Paulista. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fellipe Peres in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silas Neiva saved Giru from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basílio Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 55 minutes on the clock, André Luís Soares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Giru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uacari:s goal. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Uacari. Carlos Paraíba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Silas Neiva. 0-1. Silas Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ismael Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giru's Silas Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Salgado in the 72nd minute of play. After 74th play minutes Ismael Paulista shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Leopoldo Vinhas and just under the crossbar into goal. Kauã Veloso charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauã Veloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the match, Uacari's Carlos Paraíba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Basílio Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uacari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Paulista in the 92nd minute of the match. Pedrinho Pires struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leopoldo Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giru. A collision led to Uacari getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Eurico Cruz hit a great ball. 99 minutes into the game, Jeremias Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leopoldo Vinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
