To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Herva's goalkeeper Edgar Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deivid Seco. In the 6th minute Leandro Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Montenegro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Deivid Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Deivid Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Montenegro. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. After 28 played minutes Irmandade got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Mazza. Rafa Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Deivid Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herva's Edgar Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reginaldo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Montenegro having to interfere. If Deivid Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Irmandade's Deivid Seco in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herva's goalie prevented a goal. Doriva Barral hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Rafa Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes, Bernardinho Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herva and the Irmandade players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Seco in the 61st minute of play forced Herva's goalkeeper Edgar Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herva's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Váldson Trancoso during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Váldson Trancoso kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Rafa Fontes had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernardinho Andrade from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post.
