Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Júlio Seco made the kick off which started today's match. If Orlando Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Rafinha Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Machado struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Aleandro Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Getulandia. Rafinha Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fiori Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafinha Vander in the 12th minute of the match. When Júlio Seco fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Getulandia's protests and gave Júlio Seco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Getulandia's Júlio Seco got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aleandro Moreira came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Getulandia's Júlio Seco. But to his dismay, Júlio Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Luís Fabiano Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaguan EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Getulandia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itaguan EC's Luís Fabiano Nunes got a free kick in the 29th minute. Aleandro Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Seco in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Vander in the 32nd minute of play forced Getulandia's goalkeeper Fiori Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reinaldo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleandro Moreira having to interfere. Aleandro Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Seco in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Getulandia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Itaguan EC's Aleandro Moreira got control of the ball when Reinaldo Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafinha Vander took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fiori Cruz. Fiori Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaguan EC's goalkeeper Aleandro Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Itaguan EC's goalkeeper Aleandro Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Machado. 95 minutes into the game, Orlando Gaúcho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fiori Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Getulandia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itaguan EC.
