With an all-out effort, Ivahy's Guga Sousa threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Madureira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilian Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilian Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quilombo SC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Wilian Abraão hit a great ball. Juan Madureira took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga Sousa. Guga Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Vladimir Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Guga Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Quilombo SC's goalkeeper Guga Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Barral. If Juan Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Vladimir Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guga Sousa. Quilombo SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimir Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Juan Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26thth minute of the game Cristiano Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ivahy's Pedro Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guga Sousa made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Vladimir Barral sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Sousa having to interfere. Juan Madureira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Ivahy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vladimir Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Sousa having to interfere. Ciro Vasconcelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavinho Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimir Barral scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guga Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Vladimir Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guga Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Ivahy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flavinho Donatello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Juan Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guga Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Vladimir Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Madureira struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Guga Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivahy.
