Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, one of Go! Rinthians:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Oticica EC. Celso Hermes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murillo Mattos. 1-0. João Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Murillo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Guga Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If João Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Go! Rinthians got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Britto. In the 24th minute of the match Celso Hermes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murillo Mattos skillfully saved the ball. If João Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Go! Rinthians's goal looked a bit too open when João Lago came free, but Murillo Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute João Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Go! Rinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Go! Rinthians's goalkeeper Murillo Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luís Gustavo Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Go! Rinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Linhares couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luís Gustavo Linhares made the kick off in the second half. Guga Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Santana having to interfere. If Laerte Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oticica EC's Alexandre Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Favoretto in the 70th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Go! Rinthians's goal looked a bit too open when João Lago came free, but Murillo Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Bittencourt in the 81st minute of the match. When João Lago came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Oticica EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Lago couldn't finish the play. João Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Murillo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Go! Rinthians's Luís Gustavo Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
