Perivaldo Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Perivaldo Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Teixeira in the 7th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Tepedino in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Rosa saved SQUADRA 00 from getting behind. After 14 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho de Moraes. Perivaldo Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Luisinho de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SQUADRA 00's zone, Luiz Guilherme Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Rosa came out of the goal and Luiz Guilherme Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Teixeira in the 22nd minute of play forced SQUADRA 00's goalkeeper Perivaldo Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Teixeira in the 27th minute of play. After 27 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Veiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Teixeira in the 28th minute of play forced SQUADRA 00's goalkeeper Perivaldo Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sped through SQUADRA 00's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perivaldo Rosa. Célio da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adhemar de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Moisés Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perivaldo Rosa was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Veiga. After having played for 41 minutes, Moisés Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canabravao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, SQUADRA 00 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Perivaldo Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Nando Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Moisés Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Perivaldo Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Rezende. Moisés Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Luiz Guilherme Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Canabravao booed when SQUADRA 00 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Rosa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Canabravao's goal looked a bit too open when Célio da Silveira came free, but Adhemar de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Rosa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Canabravao's Luiz Guilherme Tepedino. But to his dismay, Luiz Guilherme Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 91st match minute, Canabravao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Rossi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SQUADRA 00's Perivaldo Rosa got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes SQUADRA 00 got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Maia.
