Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anísio Pena started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Anísio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tilápia fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 minutes of play, Tilápia fc's Anísio Pena made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tião Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tilápia fc getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nelsinho Rocha hit a great ball. With a little luck, Parijos's Tião Costa got control of the ball when Giuseppe Furlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walmyr Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cesinha Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dedê Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Reinaldo de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parijos's protests and gave Reinaldo de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Reinaldo de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Bittencourt's late challenge caught a Parijos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Bittencourt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Parijos booed when Tilápia fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parijos's Mané Lima couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tilápia fc. Tião Costa was a little too slow when Anísio Pena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. Zé Carlos Ceresso hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Gláuber Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Reinaldo de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dedê Toscano having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo de Amorim to make the kick off. Luís Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Costa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Furlan in the 55th minute of play forced Parijos's goalkeeper Tião Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinícius Azevedo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Tilápia fc's Giuseppe Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo de Amorim in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedê Toscano saved Tilápia fc from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giuseppe Furlan in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tião Costa saved Parijos from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaldo de Amorim in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dedê Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tião Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Furlan's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Reinaldo de Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dedê Toscano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Anísio Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Giuseppe Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Tião Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Furlan in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesinha Brodel got free with Dedê Toscano in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Anísio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tilápia fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Pena couldn't finish the play. Tilápia fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
