Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zé Dias got the match started through his kick off. Léo Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Varela having to interfere. Zé Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hugo Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gildo Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Marco Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Nunes. High Star F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anselmo Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Brasiliense Esporting Clu got a freekick which was hit by Severino Freitas. Hugo Varela made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Léo Paraibano sent off a good shot on target. When Severino Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brasiliense Esporting Clu's protests and gave Severino Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brasiliense Esporting Clu's Severino Freitas got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Egídio de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasiliense Esporting Clu and the High Star F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Egídio de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match High Star F.C. got a corner. Brasiliense Esporting Clu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gildo Ceresso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gildo Ceresso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Varela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 19 minutes, Zé Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. High Star F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind High Star F.C.'s goalkeeper Humberto Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Humberto Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Fernandez in the 26th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Zé Dias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of High Star F.C. booed when Brasiliense Esporting Clu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Giovani Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Duarte Antunes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugo Varela, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinei Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Humberto Nunes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Giovani Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. High Star F.C.'s Humberto Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Fernandez in the 60th minute of play. Giovani Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Nunes having to interfere. When Léo Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the High Star F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Paraibano couldn't finish the play. When Severino Freitas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. Léo Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Varela having to interfere. Hugo Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Brasiliense Esporting Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Léo Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Varela having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Zé Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There was no doubt that High Star F.C. were the better team. High Star F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
