Lucas Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson Carioca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Beluno's Gilvan de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Barreto in the 5th minute of play. Gilvan de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Maranhense in the 7th minute of play. If Elói Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan de Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Barreto went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the last second Denílson Carioca throw himself and got hold of the ball when Breno Toscano in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Beluno getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Duda Velloso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Barreto in the 16th minute of play forced Beluno's goalkeeper Gilvan de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Barreto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan de Castro saved Beluno from getting behind. Elói Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lindeza's Fiori Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lindeza's Elói Maranhense in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beluno's goalie prevented a goal. After 31 played minutes Beluno got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Barbosa. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Elói Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindeza's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denílson Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Elói Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gilvan de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Lindeza's goalkeeper Denílson Carioca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Moreno. When Lindeza's Fiori Barreto in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beluno's goalie prevented a goal. The wind increased when Breno Toscano made the kick off in the second half. Thiago da Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilvan de Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Barreto got free with Gilvan de Castro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucas Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Denílson Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Vágner Arce suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Marquez during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Barreto got free with Gilvan de Castro in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beluno's goalkeeper Gilvan de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Beluno got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Barbosa. Elói Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Fiori Barreto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Elói Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindeza's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Beluno's zone, Fiori Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan de Castro came out of the goal and Fiori Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan de Castro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Elói Maranhense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Gilvan de Castro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fiori Barreto got free with Gilvan de Castro in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Elói Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindeza's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
