Jonas Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Santos in the 65th minute of the match. Afonso Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Palmeira having to interfere. Manfredo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Manfredo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Palmeira having to interfere. David Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Muquy fully deserved thier win.
