Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adhemar Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Camoci's Adhemar Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Magno Passos fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camoci's protests and gave Magno Passos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Magno Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Camoci's zone, Victor Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Coelho came out of the goal and Victor Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Areinhas SS's Adrianinho Quirino got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Adhemar Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Areinhas SS's Elivélton de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Umberto Zonta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Adolfo Coelho was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Victor Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Camoci getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Vinícius Baptista hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Camoci's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Zonta came free, but João Adolfo Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Areinhas SS's goalkeeper Elivélton de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adhemar Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Areinhas SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adhemar Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Camoci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Giovani Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areinhas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camoci the free kick. 36 minutes into the match, Areinhas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Vasconcelos came free, but Elivélton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernani Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivélton de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Giovani Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Fernandinho de Carvalho put in a rough tackle. In the 52nd minute, one of Camoci:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Camoci. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Areinhas SS. Olavo Veloso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Adolfo Coelho. 0-1. Victor Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Areinhas SS's Victor Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Hernani Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Areinhas SS's Elivélton de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Camoci's goalkeeper João Adolfo Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinícius Baptista charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinícius Baptista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Camoci's João Adolfo Coelho got control of the ball when Victor Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of João Adolfo Coelho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Quirino got free with João Adolfo Coelho in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elivélton de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Hernani Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton de Amorim having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Areinhas SS's zone, Vinícius Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton de Amorim came out of the goal and Vinícius Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Camoci booed when Areinhas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Murilo da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camoci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Areinhas SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Areinhas SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
