Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel de Moraes started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Vicente Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donatello Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unidos da Vila FC's protests and gave Juan Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Unidos da Vila FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Paraíba. Vicente Faria struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Fernandão Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inhare SC. Vicente Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fernandão Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vicente Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Paulista during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, one of Unidos da Vila FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unidos da Vila FC. Vivaldo Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel de Moraes in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Inhare SC got a corner. Unidos da Vila FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gildo do Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Unidos da Vila FC's goalie and right to Gilmar dos Santos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Unidos da Vila FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Manuel de Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Souza having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Faria to make the kick off. Fernandão Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Faria in the 52nd minute of play. Vivaldo Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel de Moraes in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Manuel de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, Inhare SC's Vicente Faria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandão Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donatello Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Vicente Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Caio de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidos da Vila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Manuel de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandão Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donatello Félix's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When Inhare SC's Donatello Félix in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unidos da Vila FC's goalie prevented a goal. Unidos da Vila FC's Fernandão Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Faria in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Armandinho Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Manuel de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vivaldo Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel de Moraes during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Unidos da Vila FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inhare SC.
