Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rony Travassos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes GePeTaPa got a freekick which was hit by Umberto da Rocha. Manfredo Borges didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Diniz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Oari SC's Manfredo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Simões in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes, GePeTaPa's Caetano Brodel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manfredo Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GePeTaPa reached it. Umberto da Rocha got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 15th match minute, GePeTaPa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Jacinto Magalhães notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GePeTaPa's Ciro Lopez. Ciro Lopez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Wilton Schmidt in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GePeTaPa's Caetano Brodel. If Manoel Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reynaldo Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Borges having to interfere. GePeTaPa's Ciro Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Magalhães in the 31st minute of play. Manoel Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Borges having to interfere. GePeTaPa's attentive Aloísio Fernandes managed to snatch the ball when Wilton Schmidt made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Manoel Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Manfredo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Amorim in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, GePeTaPa's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Quirino came free, but Ciro Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Simões made a kick off. Ciro Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Quirino's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oari SC's goalkeeper Manfredo Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute Reynaldo Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on GePeTaPa's corner Manoel Toledo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manfredo Borges quite easily take care of the ball. Almir Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ciro Lopez made a huge save. Oari SC's Manfredo Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Simões in the 74th minute of play. Valdir Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ciro Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gláuber Freitas's late challenge caught a Oari SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes GePeTaPa got a freekick which was hit by Gláuber Freitas. Reynaldo Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 minutes of play, GePeTaPa's Reynaldo Simões made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Quirino in the 95th minute of play forced GePeTaPa's goalkeeper Ciro Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oari SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
