A collision led to Tacho FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Paulo Azevedo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Gladiadores's Fabrício Cavalcante tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Eger in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Linhares in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Eger in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Tomás Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Henrique Queirós got control of the ball when Fred Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Júlio Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacho FC's Wilton Tande was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Júlio Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Linhares in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilton Tande made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Gladiadores's Jacinto Dracena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Carvalho. Júlio Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Agostinho Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Carvalho. Tacho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 69th minute Sabino Recife suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 69 minutes, Jacinto Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiadores and the Tacho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Jacinto Dracena got a free kick in the 70th minute.
