Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdo Baptista started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Batista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Júlio Carvalho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cláudio de Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilton Tande's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Wilton Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio de Toledo having to interfere. Júlio Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Baptista in the 20th minute of the match. When Oséias de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacho FC's protests and gave Oséias de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Tacho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Tariquinho AD's Gernando Valadares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tacho FC. The supporters of Tariquinho AD booed when Tacho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gernando Valadares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Carvalho. Tacho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Valdo Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tariquinho AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Baptista couldn't finish the play. Wilton Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tacho FC's Wilton Tande in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tariquinho AD's goalie prevented a goal. Cláudio de Toledo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacho FC's Wilton Tande. But to his dismay, Wilton Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Tariquinho AD booed when Tacho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Rodrigo Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilton Tande to make the kick off. Tariquinho AD's Cláudio de Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Tariquinho AD from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Tariquinho AD booed when Tacho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Tariquinho AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Valdo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Tacho FC got a freekick which was hit by Oséias de Lara. Rodrigo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Júlio Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valdo Baptista got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Júlio Carvalho was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Paulo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Júlio Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Wilton Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tacho FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tacho FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
