Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvinho Freitas got the match started through his kick off. Colatina's Luizão Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Esteves in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Afonsinho Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizão Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marco Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alexandre Eger made a huge save. Marco Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Eger having to interfere. Jano Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Marco Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Colatina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Silvinho Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alexandre Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonsinho Esteves in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizão Cardozo saved Colatina from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonsinho Esteves made a kick off. Alexandre Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. João Francisco Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Luizão Cardozo made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, Colatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Sá to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Tony Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, João Francisco Quintal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
