Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manfredo Lago started the match with the kick off. Alfredão Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Leite in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Irape's Ramiro Alves got a free kick in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Alfredão Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cícero de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Giuseppe Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irape's supporters rose to their feet, but Giuseppe Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hamburgo AD's Virgílio Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giuseppe Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alfredão Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Hamburgo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Leite came free, but Alfredão Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hamburgo AD getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alberto Chaves hit a great ball. Irape's Osmar de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Paranaense in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Manfredo Lago made a precise shot to the right of Osmar de Brito. Irape's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The wind increased when Geovânio Leite made the kick off in the second half. Hamílton Cardoso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredão Trancoso was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Giuseppe Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Trancoso having to interfere. Ronaldo da Mata's late challenge caught a Hamburgo AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo da Mata helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Ronaldo da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Trancoso having to interfere. Alfredão Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Leite in the 74th minute of play. If Geovânio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Cícero de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovânio Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alfredão Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Hamburgo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Leite came free, but Alfredão Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Trancoso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Leite in the 92nd minute of play forced Hamburgo AD's goalkeeper Alfredão Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Lago in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Irape were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
