An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Lira in the 14th minute of play forced Pirangi EC's goalkeeper Erik Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pirangi EC's Ezequiel Tavares got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Carlos Augusto Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Alcântara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Augusto Lira went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ezequiel Tavares hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Orlando de Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Alcântara, 2-0. Erik Alcântara came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pirangi EC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ezequiel Tavares hit a great ball. Orlando de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Alcântara having to interfere. Erik Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Lira in the 44th minute of play. If Orlando de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto Lira was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Roseira Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Queiroz came free, but Arthur Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Mathias Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Augusto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Carlos Augusto Lira in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Erik Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto Lira in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Alcântara saved Pirangi EC from getting behind. If Carlos Augusto Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pirangi EC booed when Roseira Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Albertinho do Valle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arthur Souto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Pirangi EC's Váldson Lira got a free kick in the 91st minute. Erik Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Lira in the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando de Alcântara in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando de Alcântara in the 95th minute of play forced Pirangi EC's goalkeeper Erik Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pirangi EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Roseira Fc.
