Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, Arlindo Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antônio Carlos Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lauro Paranaense came out and tried to block the shot, but Antônio Carlos Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Albertinho do Valle got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lauro Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Queiroz in the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Alexandre Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Albertinho do Valle notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rutes SC's Lauro Paranaense. Lauro Paranaense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro Carneiro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Antônio Carlos Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho do Valle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Lauro Paranaense skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lauro Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Queiroz's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Pirangi EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Garcia came free, but Erik Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Arlindo Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Alcântara having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlindo Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. When Arlindo Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Rutes SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Rutes SC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho do Valle came free, but Lauro Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho do Valle in the 56th minute of play forced Rutes SC's goalkeeper Lauro Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arlindo Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lauro Paranaense having to make a save. Rutes SC's Lauro Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Queiroz in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rutes SC's Manfredo Cardozo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Lauro Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Queiroz in the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Albertinho do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho do Valle took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Paranaense. Lauro Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Pirangi EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zézinho da Rocha hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Pirangi EC's goalkeeper Erik Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tostão Garcia. Pirangi EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rutes SC for a fine match.
