A collision led to Palestra getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Claudinho Simões hit a great ball. Tiago Gabriel Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Quaresma in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo-Enrique Guzman in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Gabriel Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Pablo-Enrique Guzman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Gabriel Souto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tiago Gabriel Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Jupi's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Barbosa came free, but John van As reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Jupi's goalkeeper John van As had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu Netto. When Jupi's Pablo-Enrique Guzman in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Guilherme Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra the free kick. In the 32nd minute Dudu Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John van As saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Palestra's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Quaresma came free, but Tiago Gabriel Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Pablo-Enrique Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo-Enrique Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Quaresma in the 40th minute of the match. Jaroslaw Zalipski hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Nicolas Arósio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John van As showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Jupi's Ramón Quaresma made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Gabriel Souto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudu Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramón Quaresma might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Gabriel Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramón Quaresma ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeu Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Palestra's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramón Quaresma. Ramón Quaresma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Gabriel Souto came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramón Quaresma slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Palestra's Tiago Gabriel Souto got control of the ball when Pablo-Enrique Guzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jupi's Ramón Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramón Quaresma had several of the Palestra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Tiago Gabriel Souto as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Tadeu Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ramón Quaresma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Quaresma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pablo-Enrique Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jupi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
