Clube Atletico Paulista's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Duda Maia struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ismael Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Magno Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Prata in the 35th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Rosa made a kick off. João Adolfo Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Geovani Madureira came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Magno Moura could save by the left post. Paulo José Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Evaristo Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Geovani Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Moura came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jânio do Valle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Clube Atletico Paulista getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jânio do Valle hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Robinho Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Swetex Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clube Atletico Paulista for a fine match.
