The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willian da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Swetex Football Club's goalkeeper Magno Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Quadros. When Nelsinho Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Arauna AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Quadros couldn't finish the play. Luís Guilherme Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Magno Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magno Moura having to make a save. Nelsinho Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Magno Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Silas Rosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian da Cunha. Arauna AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silas Rosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Magno Moura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nelsinho Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Magno Moura made a huge save. Swetex Football Club's Magno Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Marinho in the 27th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Marinho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Magno Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arauna AD. Magno Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Marinho in the 33rd minute of play. Luís Guilherme Marinho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Arauna AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roberto Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Luís Guilherme Marinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Marinho was the one to do the kick off. When Luís Guilherme Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Arauna AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Marinho couldn't finish the play. In the 57thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swetex Football Club's Magno Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th match minute, Swetex Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Lima to maneuver through the defense. If Silas Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Swetex Football Club's Silas Rosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian da Cunha. That made the score 2-2 after 65 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Swetex Football Club defense, Nelsinho Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magno Moura. The Swetex Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magno Moura should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Swetex Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Marinho came free, but Magno Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Arauna AD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Marinho hit a great ball. Silas Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willian da Cunha having to make a save. Willian da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Duda Maia sent off a good shot on target. Luís Guilherme Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Moura having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Swetex Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Marinho came free, but Magno Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arauna AD fully deserved thier win.
