Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Xavier started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Fonseca got free with Zeca França in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zeca França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Dito Gaspar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cayru EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jonathan Sá hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Domingues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tatuhy's zone, Mathias Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Tavares came out of the goal and Mathias Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cayru EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Xavier came free, but Zeca França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Palmeira's late challenge caught a Tatuhy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Palmeira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cayru EC's Eriberto Palmeira got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mathias Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorival Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Dito Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Tavares having to make a save. If Rodrigo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Fabrício Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatuhy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayru EC the free kick. Fabrício Barreto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Tatuhy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cayru EC were winning 0-1.

When Cayru EC's Dito Gaspar in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tatuhy's goalie prevented a goal. Dorival Tavares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dito Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Dorival Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Botelho in the 70th minute. A collision led to Cayru EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mathias Botelho hit a great ball. Pedrinho Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Cayru EC's Aleandro Vieira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Dito Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Dorival Tavares managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Cayru EC's Mathias Botelho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Fabrício Barreto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Tatuhy's Fabrício Barreto got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cayru EC's Mathias Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute Léo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Cayru EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tatuhy.
