The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rodrigo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Dionísio in the 6th minute of play forced Tatuhy's goalkeeper Dorival Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedro's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Francisco Dionísio was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Dorival Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Rodrigo Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Xavier scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Arósio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Léo Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rodolfo Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tatuhy. In the 32nd minute of the match Elias Pernambucano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dorival Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Dionísio in the 34th minute of the match. Dorival Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Matos in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Cedro's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Xavier came free, but Rodolfo Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angelo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Tatuhy's goalkeeper Dorival Tavares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorival Matos. In the 45th minute Léo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match Sebastião Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Xavier made the kick off in the second half. Dorival Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Matos in the 58th minute of the match. Pedrinho Domingues hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Germano Marques sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tatuhy's Dorival Tavares didn't even have to move. In the 67thth minute of the game Francisco Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tatuhy's Dorival Tavares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Francisco Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Tatuhy's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Dionísio came free, but Dorival Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dorival Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Dionísio in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Cedro's Dorival Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorival Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton de Moraes in the 96th minute of play forced Cedro's goalkeeper Rodolfo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tatuhy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
