Coritibanos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Guilherme Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Guilherme Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo José Cabral having to make a save. Paulo José Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Cardoso in the 29th minute. The supporters of Senges booed when Coritibanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Kléber Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Coritibanos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Esteves came free, but Arí Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Senges were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Coritibanos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Augusto Couto took the corner. Walmir Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arí Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo José Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Zé Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre das Neves in the 77th minute of play forced Senges's goalkeeper Paulo José Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
