Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hélio Pernambucano got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Jiju's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Aguiar came free, but Válter Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Pernambucano in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Arsenal's Juarês Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Válter Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute Juarês Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfredo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Pernambucano in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Mesquita saved Arsenal from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Manfredo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jiju's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raimundo Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Manfredo Mello notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arsenal's Raimundo Mesquita. Raimundo Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manfredo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, Jiju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Mesquita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Mello in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Hélio Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Mesquita was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Raimundo Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Manfredo Mello sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Hélio Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jiju's Manfredo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Mesquita having to interfere. Hélio Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Raimundo Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jiju's zone, Samuca Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Dante came out of the goal and Samuca Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Hélio Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Mello in the 76th minute of the match. William dos Santos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Mello came free, but Raimundo Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Mota to maneuver through the defense. Manfredo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hélio Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
