Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cafu Seco started the match with the kick off. Guariento FC's Falcão de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Amorim in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Amorim in the 6th minute of play forced Guariento FC's goalkeeper Falcão de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guariento FC's Falcão de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Amorim in the 9th minute of play. Falcão de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Borges in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Sport Dornelas's Fellipe Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cafu Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Francisco Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Guariento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Vinhas came free, but Falcão de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Fellipe Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Dornelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Cafu Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Cafu Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cafu Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Maurinho Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sport Dornelas booed when Guariento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falcão de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Dornelas's Maurinho Amorim. But to his dismay, Maurinho Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dedê Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Guariento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Borges came free, but Falcão de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Sport Dornelas's Fellipe Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Falcão de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Frederico Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Rezende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Rezende made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Oscar Pena sent off a good shot on target. If Cafu Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Many of Guariento FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guariento FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Sport Dornelas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
