The tension between the Estacado and the Batovi AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Reinaldo Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gino Mello came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Estacado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Mello couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, Batovi AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Varela to maneuver through the defense. When Juvenal Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Batovi AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Rosa couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Estacado got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Nogueira. In the 24thth minute of the game Custódio Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estacado's Laerte Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Estacado's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Braga came free, but Laerte Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrão Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Estacado got a freekick which was hit by Zé Vergílio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Custódio Braga made a kick off. Laerte Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batovi AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estacado the free kick. A collision led to Batovi AD getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dagoberto Mineiro hit a great ball. If Hélio Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anderson Pernambucano fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batovi AD's protests and gave Anderson Pernambucano a yellow card for diving instead. Anderson Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcel Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batovi AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laerte Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenal Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Estacado's Américo Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Silas Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Estacado walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
