Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tupanatinga SS's Enrique de Andrade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Remo Souto made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ramiro Félix sent off a good shot on target. In the 5th minute Betão Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão Nóbrega in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Souto saved Tupanatinga SS from getting behind. Betão Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Remo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remo Souto was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Faustão Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustão Cavalcante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 19 played minutes Tupanatinga SS got a freekick which was hit by Enrique de Andrade. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tupanatinga SS! When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Montevideu's Denílson Marquez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Remo Souto. Enrique de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Pitta having to interfere. Tupanatinga SS's Gabriel Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Nóbrega in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Betão Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Betão Nóbrega in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Ramiro Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tupanatinga SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Betão Nóbrega scored to the left of an out of position Remo Souto, making the score, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remo Souto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Félix went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Remo Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Betão Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Montevideu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. If Ramiro Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Betão Nóbrega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Abreu was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Tupanatinga SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montevideu:s goal. Denílson Marquez placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Montevideu's Marcos Ortiz got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ramiro Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Remo Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Gabriel Hoffmann succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 96th playminute. There was no doubt that Montevideu were the better team. Montevideu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
