The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Tupanatinga SS's Enrique de Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião Paraíba. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 16 minutes into the game, Nelsinho da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacional AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupanatinga SS the free kick. A collision led to Nacional AC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nelsinho da Silva hit a great ball. If Gabriel Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fabiano Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional AC's zone, Gabriel Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Paraíba came out of the goal and Gabriel Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Augusto Medeiros hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Tupanatinga SS's Gabriel Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Sebastião Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sebastião Paraíba came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tupanatinga SS's Enrique de Andrade. But to his dismay, Enrique de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tupanatinga SS's Eusébio Nóbrega got a free kick in the 37th minute. Fabiano Souto struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Remo Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional AC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gabriel Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sebastião Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Fabiano Souto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remo Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute Gabriel Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacional AC's Sebastião Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique de Andrade in the 68th minute of play. If Enrique de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tupanatinga SS's Hílton Leite got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tupanatinga SS's Gabriel Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Gabriel Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Gabriel Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Enrique de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Souto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tupanatinga SS had won after a very even match.
