Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luisão Cruz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luisinho Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Donato in the 4th minute of play forced Barro's goalkeeper Luisinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Dobrada's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luisão Cruz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Dobrada's Luiz Donato got a free kick in the 10th minute. Pedrão Viana, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 13th match minute, Dobrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, Barro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Terra to maneuver through the defense. Mané Costa made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when João Francisco Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Dobrada's Pedrinho Rocha got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrada's zone, João Francisco Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Costa came out of the goal and João Francisco Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubens Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrada's zone, João Francisco Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Costa came out of the goal and João Francisco Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

João Francisco Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mané Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barro. In the 54th minute João Francisco Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Mesquita hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Barro's Alfredinho Amorim managed to work through Dobrada's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alfredinho Amorim dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mané Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Cruz in the 73rd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, João Francisco Sampaio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dobrada's Mané Costa. Mané Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luisão Cruz struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mané Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barro. Luisão Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Costa having to interfere. The supporters of Dobrada booed when Barro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Rubens Negri fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luisinho Moreno, passed just outside the right post. The Dobrada players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Barro from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
