Ricardo Moraes in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão Terra in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raí Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Chicão Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paratudai's zone, Antônio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Mota came out of the goal and Antônio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chicão Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raí Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, ZimmerZERA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Mazza came free, but Zeca do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Antônio Travassos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chicão Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Raí Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Antônio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paratudai's Raí Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Travassos in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match, Ricardo Moraes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeca do Nascimento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Chicão Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Travassos in the 38th minute of play forced Paratudai's goalkeeper Raí Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca do Nascimento having to interfere. Raí Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Terra in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavinho Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ZimmerZERA FC booed when Paratudai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Paratudai's goalkeeper Raí Mota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Chicão Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paratudai's Raí Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes Chicão Terra rounded Paratudai's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. If Chicão Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Raí Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Antônio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
