Gilmar Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Terra in the 4th minute of the match. Zeca do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Cruz in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Annel EC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arlindo Brasil hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Luizinho Saraiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Annel EC's Gilmar Medeiros didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Terra in the 17th minute of play forced Annel EC's goalkeeper Gilmar Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ZimmerZERA FC's Chicão Terra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilmar Medeiros. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the game, Chicão Terra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilmar Medeiros. Chicão Terra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chicão Terra to strike the kick off in the second half. Denílson Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón de Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play forced Annel EC's goalkeeper Gilmar Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Chicão Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZimmerZERA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 75th minute, Ivo Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilmar Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 78th minute, Antônio Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZimmerZERA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 82nd minute Chicão Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Travassos in the 88th minute of play forced Annel EC's goalkeeper Gilmar Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Annel EC's Gilmar Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Terra in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the ZimmerZERA FC defense, Arlindo Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeca do Nascimento. The ZimmerZERA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeca do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Chicão Terra made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Medeiros. Annel EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. ZimmerZERA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
