When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Vítor Xavier made a kick off. Kjell Hedvall was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Matozinhos's Valdomiro Teles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Hedvall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Teles in the 97th minute of play forced Paraguacu's goalkeeper Kjell Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
