The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vladimir Machado fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laudja FC's protests and gave Vladimir Machado a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laudja FC's Vladimir Machado got a free kick in the 3rd minute. João Adolfo Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Simão da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for xavantes oestes. Bruno Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Adolfo Hoffmanns short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Simão da Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Haroldo Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. xavantes oestes's João Adolfo Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Laudja FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Hoffmann came free, but Simão da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Adolfo Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Thiago Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Laudja FC's Isaltino Pernambucano got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Thiago Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maurício Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the xavantes oestes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Andrade couldn't finish the play. Simão da Silva came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by xavantes oestes's João Adolfo Hoffmann. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vladimir Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Meireles having to interfere. Simão da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Andrade in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, João Adolfo Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Haroldo Quirino notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Laudja FC's Simão da Silva. Simão da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Hoffmann in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão da Silva saved Laudja FC from getting behind. xavantes oestes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
