An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Carvalho in the 57th minute of play forced Mirasselvas AD's goalkeeper Jaime Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mirasselvas AD's Jaime Marquez got control of the ball when Durval Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. One of Nioac:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mirasselvas AD:s goal. Orlando Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Marquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Rosa in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute, Durval Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nioac fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Mirasselvas AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nioac were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
