Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Santos kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Franklin Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rui de Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacorore EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 15 minutes, Noel Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacorore EC and the Curitiba BlackStars players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noel Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rui de Queiroz took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lenílson Neto. Lenílson Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Noel Guedes scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenílson Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui de Queiroz in the 24th minute of the match. Lenílson Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Araújo in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Iosif Unciuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curitiba BlackStars's supporters rose to their feet, but Iosif Unciuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenílson Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Falcão Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Unciuleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curitiba BlackStars's Lenílson Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Guedes in the 39th minute of play. Iosif Unciuleanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iosif Unciuleanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermis Vaitsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Falcão Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the Curitiba BlackStars defense, Matías Araújo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenílson Neto. The Curitiba BlackStars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenílson Neto should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rui de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Lenílson Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Curitiba BlackStars's Armando de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Curitiba BlackStars got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Vaitsis. 60 minutes into the game, Chacorore EC's Noel Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 65th minute, Franklin Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute Rui de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luís Fernando Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Novaes having to interfere. Iosif Unciuleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The long shot by Mauro Medeiros in the 80th minute really tested Lenílson Neto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Noel Guedes scored 0-7 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Guedes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lenílson Neto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 97th minute, Chacorore EC's Rui de Queiroz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. The Chacorore EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chacorore EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
