Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Murilo Lopez got the match started through his kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, Mundau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Vale to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Medeiros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiago Cordeiro. Mundau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Rui de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacorore EC's Falcão Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Chacorore EC from getting a goal against them. When Franklin Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacorore EC's protests and gave Franklin Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chacorore EC's Franklin Valladares got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Juvenal Chaves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Chacorore EC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Lopez came free, but Falcão Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Thiago Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Falcão Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Noel Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui de Queiroz to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Abelardo Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mundau and the Chacorore EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, one of Mundau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mundau. Mauro Medeiros shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Noel Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Cordeiro having to interfere. Thiago Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Rui de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mundau getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Abelardo Cavalcante hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Rui de Queiroz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Cordeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denílson Marques in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Mundau's goalkeeper Thiago Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Guedes. Chacorore EC's Falcão Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Marques in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Murilo Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Falcão Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Marques in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
